Technical Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Compass Consulting is looking for a sales and marketing coordinator. The ideal candidate will have full-time availability, be someone with technical sales knowledge and marketing experience, and fluent in the ways of social media marketing. For the appropriately suited individual, this will be a fun and exciting position with a growing company, and a great opportunity for someone to make their mark in this area.

Reporting directly to the president with an initial goal of developing and implementing an aggressive marketing strategy, the Technical Sales and Marketing Coordinator will work with our technical staff to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of our products and services. A private office, computer and video marketing studio will be provided, and the position will have access to talented in-house graphic design artists, and photography/videography staff. The position will pay a base salary DOE with generous bonus and sales incentives and medical benefits.

Responsibilities:

–          Identifying and pursuing target companies / markets

–          Focus on driving business to our Citihosts data center operation

–          Lead generation and technical sales

–          Online advertising campaigns

–          Creative input on and production of media (marketing videos, presentations, etc.)

–          Email campaigns and newsletters

–          Input and coordinating of social media marketing

–          Public relations, including technology event coordination and attending community events

–          Advertising (print, online, social)

–          Press releases

–          Branding and marketing materials (business cards, flyers or brochures)

–          Tracking and evaluation of SEO / SEM analytics

–          Input on website content with the goal of increasing visibility in key markets

Knowledge & Characteristics:

–          Has spent some time in the business environment and has at minimum a good aptitude for and conceptual understanding of technology

–          Passionate about technology and the products we sell

–          People person and relationship builder

–          The kind of personality and characteristics that are immediately trusted by the customer

–          Great listening skills

–          Perfect execution – fast turnaround on technical questions and quotes

–          A closer… the skills, poise, professionalism and determination to ask for and close the deals
