Peanut’s middle name is Butter-JellyTime.
Employed by Compass Consulting since 2018, Peanut serves as company Director of Morale and Treat Distribution. Peanut has a keen sense for staff in need of an energy boost. Her extensive training in human psychology is leveraged in realizing that most humans just need a bit of a break to clear their heads and return to work refreshed and with a brighter outlook on life. She effectively draws staff away from their work for brief respites by employing tactics like toy sharing, turning on the charm to get treats, and “zoomies.” Compass staff work hard and often with extreme focus on their tasks, and Peanut’s happiness breaks are the shot in the arm we all need – although don’t mention shots to Peanut!
“A true friend leaves paw prints on your heart.”
Peanut attributes her immeasurable empathy towards humans to lifelong research into her role model, Lassie (well, and also that she is a dog). Peanut’s purity never requires embellishment or falsehoods, and with a sense of comedic irony, you’ll find a plaque on her office wall engraved with, “Timmy’s in the Well!”
“Taking a dog named ‘Shark’ to the beach is a bad idea.”
It is a treat to observe a meeting between Peanut and Taco the Tortoise (Director of Productivity). There’s always a lot of staring. Somehow, they always communicate and get the job done. Peanut was recommended to Compass by her mother, and our Digital Production Designer, Julie Gall, and she has been a perfect addition to the Compass team. Peanut may resemble an old man, but that is only because she is wise beyond her years. We like to imagine that her thoughts are in the voice of Sir Patrick Stewart, always reminding us to stick to the prime directive, and deliver the best service possible.
