Care Packages for the Troops

A note of recognition for our Senior Network Architect, Daniel Diaz…

… for his thoughtful support of his friend Matt “Cheeto” De Rueda, who is currently serving his country overseas as an Army Combat Engineer. Daniel also gave us the opportunity to support his friend by contributing to his care package.

Below is Matt’s Facebook post after receiving his care package:

“Today was just another day until I got three packages at once! A very big thank you to my Aunt Joyce, Mom (Denise), and my good friend Daniel Diaz (AKA speedy) and his family and company that he works for (Compass Consulting). Aunt Joyce one of the coffee creamers you sent exploded and made a bit of a mess but the rest seem fine. MAN DOWN! haha. Mom the cake cups and the coffee mug are going to save me during a lot of mornings when I just can’t motivate myself and need the caffeine to move. Last but certainly not least, Daniel I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me that even when you haven’t seen or talked to a friend in a long time that they come through for you. Me and my brothers and sisters here in the army couldn’t do what we do without the support of great friends and family like you. Thank you guys so much. The picture of Chester Cheetah in front of the Black Hawk is hanging up on my wall. Most excellent!”

As you can see, the troops appreciate it!

Our talented and newly promoted Client Services Administrator, Julie Gall, was so kind to create the graphic below for Matt, in recognition of his service to our country, and of course, his nickname, “Cheeto”.
